2020 Under-Valued Player
RB: Chris Carson
Seattle Seahawks RB Chris Carson finished last season on the IR with a hip injury. He is expected to be fully recovered by the time the season starts. Before he was injured, he had 278 carries for 1,230 yards with 4.4 yards per carry. He finished as RB12 even with the injury. He consistently gets 20-25 touches per game, and 80% or more of the snap share. Also last season Seattle ran the ball 481 times, Carson accounted for 58% of those carries.
Fast forward to 2020. Carson is expected to be healthy but is being drafted in the 4th round as the 17th RB off the board. I assume that is because of the hip. It can't be because you are concerned with usage. For a RB that has averaged 262 carries over two seasons on a team that averaged 500 carries per year, and Seattle has one of the best strengths of schedule per our metrics, he needs to be valued closer to the 2nd round. I'll gladly take him as my RB2 in the 4th round, with RB1 potential
