Monday Night Preview
Monday Night Preview: Kansas City Chiefs @ Baltimore Ravens
Vegas Odds: Ravens -3.5, O/U 53.5
This is simply as good as it gets. 2019 MVP vs 2018 MVP. You drafted Lamar and Pat to play them and get you wins. Let’s just hope and pray this is the shootout we’ve been waiting all of 2020 for. Get your popcorn ready!
Clyde Edwards-Helaire leads the way here as our #6 consensus ranked RB. Two games into his professional career he looks like a fantasy star for years to come in this potent offense. Expect him to be matchup and game script proof. Mark Ingram checks in as our #25 RB this week, but it’s looking like this backfield will continue to be a messy rotation all season. So far this year the carries have gone 19 to Ingram, 14 to Gus Edwards and 9 to rookie JK Dobbins, with Ingram scoring once compared to Dobbins twice. In terms of catches Ingram has 2 to Dobbins 1. Until there is more of a tell we need to treat Ingram as a ho-hum RB2/flex play, while Dobbins is a risky but high upside flex/bench stash. Edwards and CEH handcuff Darrel Williams will remain useless in fantasy without any injuries.
Tyreek Hill is a must start as always. Our #5 ranked WR proved last week once again why he is a Pro Bowler. His speed will come in handy during this high scoring Monday night affair. Another speedster, Marquise Hollywood
Brown, is ranked #19 this week and will look to provide fireworks for the Ravens. Both of these players will have more down games than other team’s more traditional #1 WRs, but both are essentially unbenchable due to their immense upside. Speed kills and these cats are no doubt some serial killers. Mecole Hardman and Demarcus Robinson will be intriguing plays if Sammy Watkins does not play due to last week’s concussion, but he is trending toward playing. This will muddy the waters as to who to play here, but the safe bet would be to not have to guess which players to start. I would rank them Watkins/Hardman/Robinson, but your guess is as good as mine here. For the Ravens Miles Boykin, Willie Snead and Devin Duvernay are all long shots to bank on, but if you gotta play them it would be in that order. I would rather take a shot on a Chiefs weapon over a Raven due to their pass happier system.
The weapons continue to not disappoint here with our #1 and 2 TEs in Travis Kelce and Mark Andrews. Both have 2 touchdowns so far and will continue to dominate in the red zone, along with pretty much the entire field in general. I expect these two animals to both shine tonight per usual. Kelce is Kelce and Andrews is coming off a quite game that he’s sure to want to avenge. Sit back and enjoy the show tonight and get all the points your body can handle!
