Monday Night Preview

Monday Night Preview:

Buffalo Bills @ San Francisco 49ers

Vegas Lines: SF -1, O/U 47.5

*Rankings below are the FantasyHolic’s staff expert weekly ranks

-Josh Allen (QB#6)- Surprising amount of passing volume this year. Can’t go wrong with a duel threat goal line beast with a rocket launcher arm and lots of weapons. 9ers D is more generous via air than versus the run.

-Nick Mullens (outside our top 20)- An ok back up on a run heavy offense. Best case scenario: they get behind early and he feeds his finally healthy WR room that can make plays after the catch.

Running Backs:

-Raheem Mostert (RB#18)- Has been a monster when healthy. Crushes Shanahan’s zone rushing system. Only downside is he doesn’t catch passes.

-Zach Moss (RB#34)- Has shown some juice as a rookie. Limited goal line opportunities with Allen around. SF D is in the top 10 against the run.

-Devin Singletary (RB#36)- Coming off of a good game (11 carries, 82 yards) but a lot of empty yards. Low ceiling with Moss getting red zone and passing game work.

-Jerick McKinnon (outside our top 40)- Has had his moments but is not usable unless you’re in a super deep PPR league. Limited touches expected unless injuries occur.

-Tevin Coleman (outside our top 40)- Should be his first game back since week 8. Don’t count on him yet but he’s a coach’s pet and could steal some goal line work.

Wide Receivers:

-Stefon Diggs (WR#4)- Having a career year. Already up to 945 yards on 110 targets. Expect him to continue to cook.

-Deebo Samuel (WR#20)- Coming off his best game of 2020 (11 catches, 134 yards). Needs to keep the target share up with Aiyuk back. Rushing attempts keeps him active every week.

-Cole Beasley (WR#29)- Only caught 2 passes last week but has been consistent throughout the year. His 57 receptions have him on pace for career highs.

-Brandon Aiyuk (outside our top 40)- Back this week from the Covid list. The rookie was on a mid season tear (5 TDs) but his role is likely scaled back with Deebo back. A strong WR4 play due to high upside.

-Gabriel Davis (outside our top 40)- Another rookie who’s taken advantage of his opportunities. Not a bad WR4 with John Brown on IR. Plays a lot of snaps and has 70 yards and a score in 2 of the last 3 games.

Tight Ends:

-Jordan Reed (TE#14)- Not much production recently but 6 targets in back to back games. The Bills are giving up the 6th most fantasy points to this position.

-Dawson Knox (outside top 24)- Good blocker who caught his first score of 2020 last week. He hasn’t cracked 5 fantasy points in any other games this year.
