Monday Night Preview

Monday Night Preview:

Baltimore Ravens @ Cleveland Browns

Vegas Lines:

Ravens -3, O/U 46

*Rankings below are the FantasyHolic’s staff expert weekly ranks

Quarterbacks:

-Lamar Jackson (QB #5)- Juicy matchup for the reigning MVP. Despite the “down” year expect him to rack up points aplenty via air and ground tonight now that his weapons are healthier.

-Baker Mayfield (outside our top 10)- Coming off of easily his best game of the season (334 yards, 4 TD) but lower your expectations this week against a stout Ravens D.

Running Backs:

-Nick Chubb (RB #9)- 100 rushing yards in 3 of the last 4. Unfortunately the Ravens are a top 8 unit against RBs. Expect a lot of touches to go for minimal points.

-Kareem Hunt (RB #20)- Less than 10 PPR points in the last 3 games. Passing usage keeps him useful but not a great opportunity this week.

-JK Dobbins (RB #23)- Scored in each of his past 2 games but still part of a fairly messy committee. Best bet to lead the team in touches, although the Browns have been mostly strong against the run.

-Gus Edwards (outside our top 40)- A sneaky 101 yard performance last week is highly unrepeatable. Not worth playing unless an injury occurs or you’re just that desperate.

-Mark Ingram (outside our top 40)- Has a whopping 2 games with over 10 PPR points (Weeks 2 & 4). Can be dropped pretty comfortably.

Wide Receivers:

-Jarvis Landry (WR #31)- Scored in back to back games on a combined 21 targets. Difficult matchup yet still the safest bet on either team.

-Marquise Brown (outside our top 40)- A quality WR4/Flex with upside. Scores in back to back and the Browns a bottom 10 unit against WRs. No other wideout teammate has more than 28 catches.

-Rashard Higgins(outside our top 40)- Last week led the team in catches (6), yards (95) and also scored. Also hadn’t broken 65 yards since October. More of a WR5.

Tight Ends:

-Mark Andrews (TE #7)- Returning from Covid just in time. Despite having a fairly disappointing season he’s set up nicely facing the 2nd worst TE defense.

-Harrison Bryant (outside our top 24)- Austin Hooper’s neck injury opens the door for the intriguing rookie Bryant. He does have a 2 TD game under his belt already so don’t completely dismiss him. Hopefully you’ve already had your TE play for the week, however.
