Monday Night Reaction
Monday Night Reaction – Week 7 #PrimeTime Royalty
The Monday night game between the Chicago Bears (5-1) and Los Angeles Rams (4-2) promised a defensive clinic, and it was just that. Unfortunately, games like this are not exciting for Fantasy owners. The Los Angeles Rams dominated on defense, totaling 4 sacks and 2 interceptions, and ran a slow, methodical offense to beat the Chicago Bears, 24-10.
Josh Reynolds (LAR) – 4 Receptions, 52 yards, 1 TD. Not a weekly play unless you play in a deeper league, but Reynolds was the star of the night.
Gerald Everett (LAR) – 4 Receptions, 28 yards, 1 TD. Seeing more action because Higbee was sidelined, Everett had a productive evening.
Cooper Kupp (LAR) – 6 Receptions, 43 yards. Kupp was bottled up all night, but caught all 6 of his targets. Not a great night, but if you have him in PPR leagues, it was a decent total.
Allen Robinson (CHI) – 4 Receptions, 70 yards. The Rams defense pressured Foles ALL NIGHT, leaving him very few chances to target his favorite WR.
David Montgomery (CHI) – 14 carries, 48 yards. 5 Receptions, 21 yards. Not a great night for ANYONE on the Bears offense. However, if using Montgomery as a FLEX play this week, the dumpoff receptions helped to get you a manageable outing.
Darrell Henderson Jr. (LAR) – 15 carries, 64 yards. 2 Receptions, 13 yards. Henderson seems to have established himself as the lead back in this offense, again leading the team in touches. However, he faced another TOUGH run defense. Better days are ahead.
Robert Woods (LAR) – 3 receptions, 22 yards. Robert “Lost InThe” Woods, again leaving fantasy owners (including myself) scratching their heads with his lack of production. Hopefully things change ASAP.
