Tuesday Night Preview
Tuesday Night Preview:
Dallas Cowboys @ Baltimore Ravens
BAL -8.5, O/U 45
*Rankings below are the FantasyHolic’s staff expert weekly ranks
-Lamar Jackson (QB #8)- A disappointing year and no practice this week (Covid) but the Dallas secondary is very generous and you can’t ignore his rushing floor.
-Andy Dalton (outside our top 20)- He’s shown some improvement the last two weeks but Baltimore’s defense is not a good matchup. Sit him this week but he’s got some appeal next week in his #RevengeGame in Cincinnati.
-Ezekiel Elliott (RB #15)- His worst career year and playing against a top 10 front 7. Guard Zack Martin’s trip to the IR Monday has sealed his fate as a volume only inefficient RB2.
-JK Dobbins (RB #23)- Expected to lead the group here against a bottom 10 run D. His last healthy game he turned 15 carries into 70 yards and a score.
-Gus Edwards (outside our top 40)- Nothing flashy but could get some goal line work. Overall a messy backfield committee.
-Mark Ingram (outside our top 40)- Huge disappointment in 2020. Could replace Edwards as a red zone back but has essentially been phased out. Not enough footballs to go around.
-Tony Pollard (outside our top 40)- Flashy but nothing more than a handcuff on a poor offense.
-Amari Cooper (WR #22)- Starting to show a connection with Dalton. Despite some struggles this year he’s scored double digit PPR fantasy points in all but 2 games.
-CeeDee Lamb (WR #37)- Under appreciated Rookie of the Year candidate. Like Cooper only 2 games with less than 10 PPR points. Dynasty drafters rejoice for the future.
-Marquise Brown (outside our top 40)- Broke out for a 70 yard TD last week but with the third string QB in garbage time. The talent has always been there. Stuck as a boom/bust WR4 even though he’s the only relevant WR on the roster.
-Michael Gallup (outside our top 40)- Not a recommendation but always a threat to to break a long one. Is a distance third in the pecking order but still got 8 targets last week. WR4/5 with upside.
-Dalton Schultz (TE #19)- Far from a talented player but hard to ignore 44 catches on 66 targets. Low upside but usable in PPR.
-Luke Willson (outside our top 24)- The former Seahawks castoff will mostly be used as a blocker but has a shot at some targets. Don’t expect much.
