Week 1 Thursday Night Preview
Cowboys at Buccaneers
Old man Brady continues to defy time playing America’s team the Dallas Cowboys. This matchup should answer a lot of questions for the Cowboys a team coming off an injury riddled season without Dak and looked like a team defeated. On the other side the Buccaneers look to defend there title against the rest of the NFL.
Dak Prescott was on pace for a record season yards wise in a pass happy Mike McCarthy offense. It was apparent no defense was going. To be played for the Cowboys last year and there first few games were shoot outs. Then Dak went down and the season seemingly fell apart. Zeke struggled in the new offense and it was a revolving door at QB. This season retooled through the NFL draft on defense and healthy on offense the Cowboys should have a shot at being a top five football team. They just need a defense to make a few stands and this could be a hard team to stop.
Everyone knew Brady would bring the stability the Buccaneers sorely lacked with the turnover prone Jameis Winston but no one knew they were going to play as well as they did down the stretch. A running game playing the hot hand with a top end defense returning all starters including the man I think is the best linebacker in the league in Devin White the Bucs don’t have to depend on Brady to do it all. Just don’t turn the ball over Tom. A great leader of men who leads by example from the locker room I anticipate the Bucs having another great season defending there title.
