Week 12 Start/Sit
Week 12 Start/ Sit - #PrimeTime Royalty
Start: Justin Herbert (LAC) @ Buffalo Bills – Over his last 4 games, Herbert has been averaging 24 fantasy points. With a shootout likely coming in Buffalo this week, the rookie should continue his hot streak as well as his bid for Offensive Rookie of the Year.
Sit: Carson Wentz (PHI) vs Seattle Seahawks – Wentz is averaging less than 12 points per game over his last 3 contests. Make all the excuses you want, the guy is just having a TERRIBLE year, and there are PLENTY of better options at the position.
Start: Nick Chubb (CLE) @ Jacksonville Jaguars – Since his return from injury a few weeks ago, Chubb has averaged 19 carries and 120 yards per game. This week, he faces a Jags defense that gives up an average of 129 yards per game on the ground. Look for Chubb to have another productive day.
Start: Antonio Gibson (WAS) @ Dallas Cowboys – Antonio Gibson has been a very productive back on a mediocre team this year. Averaging 20 points a game over his last two outings, he now faces a Cowboys defense that he recently torched for 128 yards and a TD earlier in the season.
Sit: Clyde Edwards – Helaire (KC) @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Obviously if you drafted CEH, you will definitely start him. I’m just saying, you shouldn’t be expecting a whole lot this week. Tampa Bay has COMPLETELY shut down almost every rushing attack they’ve faced this year, giving up only 73 yds per game.
Sit: Damien Harris (NE) vs Arizona Cardinals – Harris could have a productive game, but who knows? Sony Michel returns to the backfield this week, and the Patriots are VERY unpredictable with their RB usage. There are too many options here for me.
Start: Terry McLaurin (WAS) @ Dallas Cowboys – Over his last 3 games, “Scary Terry” has averaged 8 targets and 18 points. McLaurin should continue his recent dominance, as his club faces the Cowboys on the road, in what looks to be a shootout with the NFC East up for grabs.
Start: Michael Pittman Jr. (IND) vs Tennessee Titans – Pittman Jr has been the latest rookie to break out this year, averaging 17.4 points in his last two outings. With a veteran QB who LOVES to look to bigger receivers, the 6’4, 223 LB wideout should continue to get targets. Hopefully, he continues to make the most of his opportunities!
Sit: AJ Brown (TEN) @ Indianapolis Colts – Brown has been an absolute BEAST this year, since returning from an injury. The lone exception? A TERRIBLE 3 point showing against the same Colts team they face this week.
Sit: Michael Thomas (NO) @ Denver Broncos – Again, obviously if you have Michael Thomas, you’ve waited all year to use him, you’re GOING to start him. My issue isn’t so much with him, as it is his QB. I don’t trust Taysom Hill, in his 2nd career start, on the road in Denver.
Start: Darren Waller (LV) @ Atlanta Falcons – Waller has been a FORCE all year long, and you can pencil him in for a big game again this week, as he faces the worst defense in the NFL
Sit: Rob Gronkowski (TB) vs Kansas City Chiefs – Gronk is coming off a rough outing, catching only 2 balls for 25 yards in his previous outings. With the return of Chris Godwin and the emergence of Antonio Brown, the target share is too spread out for my liking.
