Week 14 Sunday Night Preview
Sunday Night Preview:
Pittsburgh Steelers @ Buffalo Bills
Bills -2, O/U 48.5
*Rankings below are the FantasyHolic’s staff expert weekly ranks
-Josh Allen (QB #9)- Coming off his most impressive career passing game (32-40, 375, 4 TD, 0 INT) but facing the top defense in the league. Expect lower end starter quality production given the matchup. Rushing floor keeps him interesting.
-Ben Roethlisberger (QB #13)- Passing volume has been through the roof lately and he’s having his best career TD:INT ratio (27:7). Buffalo pass defense a bottom 10 unit but volume might take a dip with James Conner’s return.
-James Conner (RB #21)- Coming back from the Covid list and only 1 TD since Week 6 but the touches should be there for him. Buffalo run defense has been below average.
-Devin Singletary (RB #32)- Coming off back to back solid performances after disappearing mid season. Unfortunately the Steeler D is allowing the 2nd fewest RB points.
-Zack Moss (outside our top 40)- Costly fumble last week sent him to the bench. Scary matchup keeps him out of your lineup.
-Benny Snell (outside our top 40)- Fell on his face starting for Conner last week. Nothing but an occasional cheap TD poacher.
-Stefon Diggs (WR #13)- Having a career year while tied for the league lead with 90 receptions. Facing a top 10 unit against WRs so downgraded slightly.
-Deonte Johnson (WR #15)- Tough matchup on paper but double digit targets for 5 weeks straight. Can’t ignore how impressive he’s been this season.
-Chase Claypool (WR #25)- Has cooled off some but still having a phenomenal rookie year. The big play upside and 10 total TDs has him close to unbenchable status.
-Juju Smith-Schuster (WR #26)- 73 catches and 6 scores keeping him afloat but the 8.2 YPC is very disappointing. Still a solid WR3 but the days of splash plays seem long gone.
-Cole Beasley (WR #30)- Has thrived this year as Allen’s slotman. Coming off of a huge game (9-130-TD). A true waiver wire hero.
-Gabriel Davis (outside our top 40)- High snap rate with 60+ yards and a score in 3 of the last 4 games. Feel good using him as a WR4/Flex as long John Brown is out.
-James Washington (outside our top 40)- A Big Ben fave that is stealing some of Claypool’s deep threat and red zone work lately. A WR4/5 that has the potential to score every week (4 TDs in 2020 including 1 last week).
-Eric Ebron (TE #4)- Double digit PPR points in 6 of the last 7, including back to back 11 target games. Buffalo D also very generous to the position.
-Dawson Knox (outside our top 24)- End zone trips in back to back games are encouraging. 2020 stat line of 13-138-2, however, is not.
