Week 4 Start/Sit

Week 4 Start /Sit

Start: Aaron Rodgers (GB) vs. Atlanta Falcons – Over the last 3 weeks, Rodgers is averaging 24.8 fantasy points. He now faces the Falcons, who not only have blown 16 + point leads in back to back weeks, but also have surrendered an average of 463 yds and 36 pts per game. Rodgers will have another big day.

Sit: Cam Newton (NE) @ KC Chiefs – The Chiefs defense has improved vastly this year, and is able to put a LOT of pressure on opposing quarterbacks. They have managed 10 sacks to go with 2 INT and a forced fumble so far this season. I think Cam will see the same treatment that Lamar Jackson got last week. Also, Newton’s go to receiver, Julien Edelman is questionable.

Start: James Robinson (JAX) @ Cincinnati Bengals – Robinson is the biggest waiver add of the season thus far. Being featured heavily in both the ground and passing attack, he is producing great numbers. Owners can expect much of the same this week.

Start: Darrell Henderson Jr. (LAR) vs. New York Giants – Henderson has averaged 90 yds rushing and a TD in each of the past 2 games. With Cam Akers out again this week, Henderson should see a majority of the touches and has a great matchup, against the Giants, who are QUICKLY putting themselves in contention for the first pick of next year’s draft.

Sit: Antonio Gibson (WAS) vs. Baltimore Ravens – Gibson has quietly produced for fantasy owners thus far, averaging 12.5 pts per game. However, Gibson and the Redskins face a very good Ravens defense this week, and to be honest... the Redskins offense is not very good.

Sit: Miles Gaskin (MIA) vs Seattle Seahawks – Another RB who has shone bright unexpectedly this year, Gaskin has averaged 14 pts/ game for fantasy owners over the last 2 weeks. However, the Dolphins have a tough task ahead, as the 3-0 Seahawks come to town. I think the Dolphins will be playing from behind early in this contest, needing to put the ball in the air early, and often.

Start: DK Metcalf (SEA) @ Miami Dolphins – DK Metcalf has averaged 90 yds receiving and 1 TD, in each of the past 3 games. This week, he faces a Miami Dolphins secondary who may, or may not have its best corner in Byron Jones. I expect Metcalf to have another big week. Lets just hope he learned his lesson from last week, and carries the ball over the goal line.

Start: Marquise Brown (BAL) @ Washington Redskins – After a terrible week against the Chiefs last week, the Ravens offense should find much more success, on the ground and through the air. Brown should find more room to get open and rebound nicely against the Redskins, who will be without their star rookie, Chase Young.

Sit: Terry McLaurin (WAS) vs. Baltimore Ravens – McLaurin has emerged as the Redskins #1 target, and has produced good numbers, averaging 8 targets and 89 yards over the past 3 weeks. But this week, the Redskins matchup against a talented Ravens defense, who will pressure Dwayne Haskins into all sorts of bad decisions, and McLaurin being blanketed by a talented secondary of Marlon Humphrey and Marcus Peters.

Start: George Kittle (SF) vs. Philadelphia Eagles – After being a full participant in practice all week, Kittle is good to go for week 4, and should rejuvenate the 49ers offense and be a main focal point. Start Kittle confidently.

Sit: Austin Hooper (CLE) @ Dallas Cowboys – After a breakout season in Atlanta, Hooper left for Cleveland, signing a big contract, and has not produced since. Hooper is averaging 4 targets and a measly avg of 20 yds per game. He cannot be counted on as anything other than a TE 2 for the time being.
