Week 5 Start/Sit Advice
Start and Sit Advice
QB
Start
Ben Roethlisberger vs Philadelphia Eagles
Big Ben is upset about the off week, he’s upset about having to play 13 weeks in a row. He's averaged over 20 points coming off the bye the past five years. The Eagles defense has allowed 25 completions to Jared Goff and Joe Burrow. Big Ben averages 331 passing yards when he has 25 completions. Start Ben against Philadelphia.
Justin Herbert vs New Orleans Saints
I can't believe I'm saying to start a rookie against New Orleans but he's averaged 310 yards a game and the Saints have allowed an average of 20 points to each QB they faced this season.
Sit
Carson Wentz vs Pittsburgh Steelers
This Eagles team is a mess. The O-Line is broken, and they have no weapons. The Steelers blitz and bring pressure and the Eagles line won’t be able to hold them back.
RB
Start
Chris Carson vs Minnesota Vikings
Carson averages 19 points per week, and he getting a handful of catches. The Vikings are bottom 5 against the run.
James Robinson vs Houston Texans
Three down back who is on the field even if Jacksonville is behind. He gets 18 touches a game and Houston allows 162 yards per game.
Sit
Le’Veon Bell vs Arizona Cardinals
Yes he’s coming off the IR and will start against Arizona but I don’t see how you trust any Jets player. Now Bell May get some volume and some of you will yell at me after Sunday and tell me I was wrong, but I’ll take my chances.
WR
Start
Adam Theilen vs Seattle Seahawks
Seattle is the 32nd ranked team versus the pass. They are terrible against perimeter WRs and that’s where Theilen plays.
Robby Anderson vs Atlanta Falcons
Speaking of bad defenses, Atlanta continues to get burnt by WRs deep and guess what Anderson runs the deep play. Oh yeah and Teddy Bridgwater throws a good deep ball
Sit
TY Hilton vs Cleveland Browns
I don’t know what’s going on here but Phillip Rivers is not raising Hilton’s game. I don’t expect that to change against a top defense in the league.
TE
Start
Jonnu Smith vs Buffalo Bills
With Corey Davis and Adam Humphries on Covid Res list and A.J. Brown banged up, someone has to catch the ball. Also Buffalo is bottom three again the TE
Hunter Henry vs New Orleans Saints
He’s been healthy and involved in the offense but he needs to score. Let’s see if he can score against the bottom barrel Saints against the TE
Sit
Mike Geiscki vs San Francisco
It pains me to write this as a Geiscki truther, but he’s had one good game all season and now faces the 49ers who have a top defense against the TE. Also Fitzmagic spreads the ball around. Try to find another TE to play over Geiscki
