Week 6 Start/Sit
Week 6 Start / Sit - #Primetime Royalty
Start: Matthew Stafford (DET) @ Jacksonville Jaguars – Over the last 3 games, Stafford is averaging 24.3 points a game, and this week, gets a matchup against the Jags who have given up and average of 29 points per game this season.
Sit: Tom Brady (TB) vs. Green Bay Packers – Brady is coming off a disappointing outing last week, and things don’t look much better this week, as he faces a Packers defense, who have been successful at getting pressure on the QB this year, having totaled 12 sacks so far.
Start: Mike Davis (CAR) vs. Chicago Bears – Davis and the Panthers have their work cut out for them this week, as they face the Chicago Bears defense. Over the last 4 weeks, Davis has been the feature of the offense, averaging 22.6 points and 8 targets. With that kind of workload, Davis is a MUST start.
Start: Alexander Mattison (MIN) vs. Atlanta Falcons – With Dalvin Cook going down early last week with a groin injury, Mattison filled in nicely, rushing for 116 yds and adding 3 catches out of the backfield. Mattison will face the Falcons this week who are ravaged by injury. Mattison should see another big day in relief of Cook.
Sit: Kenyan Drake (ARI) @ Dallas Cowboys – Drake has been a disappointment so far this year. Averaging only 63 yds per game on the ground, and now facing a very good Cowboys run defense.
Sit: Darrell Henderson JR. (LAR) @ San Francisco 49ers – The Rams face a very good 49ers run defense and Henderson will also be splitting touches with Cam Akers and Malcom Brown.
Start: Stefon Diggs (BUF) vs. Kansas City Chiefs – Diggs is clearly the #1 option in Buffalo, and should get PLENTY of opportunities to make big plays, in a game that looks to be a high scoring affair.
Start: Marquise Brown (BAL) @ Philadelphia Eagles – Coming off a good game vs the Bengals last week, Brown looks to continue his hot streak. Facing the Eagles, who are giving up an average of 29 points per game.
Sit: Tyler Boyd (CIN) @ Indianapolis Colts – Last week, Boyd had a tough go vs the Ravens Defense, and this week gets the Colts. I would expect a similar stat line, but better weeks are ahead.
Sit: Robby Anderson (CAR) vs. Chicago Bears – Anderson has been great the past 2 weeks, averaging 8 receptions and 100 yds per game, but this week, the Panthers face a very good Bears pass rush, who should pressure Bridgewater early, and often, reducing his ability to throw deep to Anderson.
Start: Jonnu Smith (TEN) vs Houston Texans – Jonnu Smith is averaging 4 receptions and 50 yards per game this season, and has 5 TD on the year so far. Clearly a favorite target of Tannehill, Jonnu is a MUST start.
Sit: Austin Hooper (CLE) @ Pittsburgh Steelers – Hooper has turned it on as of late, averaging 8 targets and 45 yards over the past 2 weeks, however he has a TERRIBLE matchup vs the Steelers this week.
