Week 8 Start/Sit

Week 8 Start /Sit - # PrimeTime Royalty

Start: Ryan Tannehill (TEN) @ Cincinnati Bengals – Over his last 3 games, Tannehill has scored 10 total TD and had just 1 INT, and is averaging just over 25 points per game in that span, putting him safely in the top 10 QB’s for this week.

Start: Justin Herbert (LAC) @ Denver Broncos – Averaging 29.9 fantasy points per game over his last 3 games, Herbert has shown he is a force to be reckoned with in the NFL. Start him with conifidence.

Sit: Cam Newton (NE) @ Buffalo Bills – After a HORRIBLE outing last week, in which he failed to throw for over 100 yards and threw 3 INT, Things don’t seem to be getting easier any time soon, as he faces a very good rival in Buffalo. Newton will also be playing without his top wideout, Julian Edelman, and possibly N’Keal Harry as well.

Start: Clyde Edwards – Helaire (KC) vs New York Jets – CEH has averaged 15.5 fantasy points per game this season as a rookie. Phenomenal numbers. He looks to continue his current hot streak with a home game, against the traveling circus that is the New York Jets.

Start: Philadelphia Eagles RB vs. Dallas Cowboys – If Miles Sanders plays, he should have a HUGE day. If not, Scott will fill in nicely, having a productive day against a floundering Dallas Cowboys team.

Sit: JK Dobbins (BAL) vs Pittsburgh Steelers – Unlike CEH, Dobbins is severely underperforming in his rookie season, and now gets a very tough matchup against the Steelers, who have only given up 413 yards on the ground.. ALL YEAR.

Sit: David Montgomery (CHI) vs. New Orleans Saints – With Tarik Cohen going down for the year early in the season, Montgomery has been the lead back in Chicago, averaging 12 touches on the ground and 4 targets per game. The issue is, neither Montgomery nor the rest of the Bears offense is able to move the ball downfield. I would look elsewhere if possible, until the Bears offense figures things out.

Start: AJ Brown (TEN) @ Cincinnati Bengals – Since returning from injury, AJ Brown has been an absolute STUD. Over his last 3 games, Brown is averaging 25.3 fantasy points, 8 targets, 97 yards and 1 TD per game! Fire him up with confidence this week.

Start: Tee Higgins (CIN) vs Tennessee Titans – Another breakout rookie, Higgins has caught the eye of his QB Joe Burrow, and is quickly becoming his favorite target. Over his last 3 games, Higgins is averaging 7 targets and 86 yards per game, making him a great FLEX play.

Sit: Jarvis Landry (CLE) vs Las Vegas Raiders – Landry has been absolutely frustrating for fantasy owners this year, topping 50 yards only TWICE so far this year.

Sit: Devante Parker (MIA) vs Los Angeles Rams – Parker is having a decent season thus far, however this week plays against Jalen Ramsey, and a very good Rams secondary, who just DOMINATED the Bears offense. I wouldn’t expect much from Parker this week.

Start: Darren Waller (LV) @ Cleveland Browns – Averaging 16.2 points per game over his last 3 games, Waller continues to be one of the top options at TE.

Sit: Robert Tonyan (GB) vs. Minnesota Vikings – Despite his breakout performances in weeks 3 and 4, Tonyan has seen his role significantly decrease since the return of Davante Adams. Unless playing in a deeper league, Id look elsewhere.
